PESSTO Year 5 - Final SOFI Spectra reduction

Summary:

SOFI spectra reduced with PESSTO pipeline version 2.4.0.

The final SOFI reductions resulted in 30 reduced near-IR science spectra of which 16 in GB, and 14 in GR. Notes on the reductions below.

2016-10-04:

Hip6206 telluric standard observed before and after the spectra of SN2016gkg. The PESSTO pipeline produces an artifact when using the first set of GB observations:

SOFI.2016-10-05T02:16:53.155.fits

SOFI.2016-10-05T02:17:05.808.fits

Therefore, the second set of observations used both for GB and GR:

SOFI.2016-10-05T05:12:57.182.fits

SOFI.2016-10-05T05:13:09.834.fits

SOFI.2016-10-05T05:14:28.486.fits

SOFI.2016-10-05T05:14:43.138.fits

2016-10-21:

The PESSTO pipeline produces *_sc.fits files of HIP108375 in GB and GR, even if these are not science observations but a telluric standard.

HIP108375_20161021_GB_merge_58757_2_sc.fits

HIP108375_20161021_GR_merge_58757_1_sc.fits

2016-11-26:

SN2016ije GB and GR spectra have a very low signal-to-noise ratio.

2017-02-05:

SN2016gkg GB data does not have any signal. The observations were aborted after two frames and problems with a guide star were reported by the observers in the night report. Data not useful.

2017-02-05:

The PESSTO pipeline produces *_sc.fits files of Hip7584 in GB and GR, even if these are not science observations but a telluric standard.

Hip7584_20170205_GB_merge_58759_1_sc.fits

Hip7584_20170205_GR_merge_58759_1_sc.fits

2017-03-25:

SN2017cbv GB and GR observations did not include accompanying spectroscpic standard star observations during the same night. EG274 2017-03-07 spectrum was used for calibration.
