(1) Very long rise-time (>30 days), hostless. Very blue spectrum with some lines in the blue. Could it be a SLSN?
(2) CSS140424-133007-212728. 2*1800s gr11
(3) CSS140424-133007-212728. 300s U, 45s B, 30s V, 20s Ri. Lost a small amount of time at the start of the OB since the telescope needed to be re-focused.
(4) CSS140421-142042+031602. 3*1800s grism 13
(5) CSS140421-142042+031602. U 2*250s, B 120s, VRi 60s (exptimes slightly reduced from the previous OB since we are running slightly behind schedule).
(6) Same OB as 2014-04-28
(7) CSS140421-142042+031602. 1080s J, 1440s H,Ks
(8) CSS140424-133007-212728. 400s J, 360s H, 720s Ks. Used the OB "JHK_J_16_0__17_5__gal_less90sec.obx".
(9) SN type II about a month after max., z=0.04211 (host spec.)
(10) CSS140501-170414+174839. A SN type Ia, probably normal, z~0.075 to 0.08, pre-max.
(11) Looks very faint in the acquisition image. Increased exp. time to 1800s. The seeing increased to ~1.5" during the OB. Looks very weird. Potentially super interesting - is it PS1-10afx like? Extremely red with very little emission in the blue. Will repeat with gr16 at the end of the night.
(12) Telescope re-focused. 5*200s BVi, 3*100 R (in order iRVB). Seeing began at ~1.2", but fluctuated between 1.2" and ~1.4" during the rest of the OB.
(13) Try LSQ14bjb again with Grism 16 this time to see if we can learn anything more. We planned to go for PSNJ23322284+1551106 here but it's very low, so will go for it on the second or third night.
1800s exposure - it is much brighter in the i-band acquisition image than V. Seeing began at 1.2 to 1.3", but increased to 1.5" during the exposure, then back down to 1.3". Observing into twilight. There seem to be a couple of narrow lines.
(14) Just did 1" slit since 1.5" was not used, and also observing well into twilight... Grism 13 probably useless (too late).
