Spectroscopic follow-up strategy of interesting targets

The proposed follow-up strategies listed below are ideal, optimized for allowing proper data modelling for the following types of transients:

- Normal type Ia SNe at d < 12 Mpc (progenitors)

- Normal CC-SNe at d < 25 Mpc (progenitors)

- Type IIn and Ibn SNe (especially those at d < 40 Mpc);

- Hyperluminous SNe (the core of the proposal)

- faint SNe (the core of the proposal)

- LBV-like eruptions from massive stars

- SNe in metal-poor environments

- In some cases, more canonical supernovae (e.g. reddened SNe; 1991bg-like, etc... see proposals)

IDEAL MONITORING SCHEMES FOR THE DIFFERENT SUBTYPES

1) Most type II SNe (including type IIP, 1987A-like events, type IIL, 2010jp-like SNe IIL, 1996L-like SNe IIL; 2008es-like SNe IIL; peculiar 1994W-like SNe IIn)
