Night Report 2014-11-02
Observers: Paula Zelaya, Manuel E. Moreno-Raya
TAT: Annalisa De Cia, Maria Teresa Botticella
Data reducers: Milena Bufano, Francisco Forster
02 Nov: SOFI & EFOSC2 night, photometry and 'spectroscopy'.
Initial plan was to split the night between EFOSC and SOFI, but due to the 6 hours the telescope was closed, we start at UT 06:00 with SOFI, hoping the two and a half hours coming are going to have clear sky.
Non-photometric night. Weather conditions once we are observing: humidity below 35%; wind speed < 10m/s.
Seeing quite stable: 0.8"
Non-photometric night.

Change to SOFI:
UT 05:56 Image analysis
UT 06:00 NGC7552-OT photometry (K) -- seeing 0.8"
UT 06:56 LSQ14fxj photometry (JHK) -- seeing 0.8"
UT 08:00 changing to EFOSC (we don't have time enough to do another useful SOFI OB,
and we HAVE TO take skyFF as long as we did not the other twilights due to clouds.
On the other hand we car run a classification OB and pray for a standard)
UT 08:33 LSQ14fzb (Gr#13) classification (two spectra were taken because the telescope had
to be refocused after the first exposure)
UT 09:22 No standard could be taken… going for sky flats.
UT 09:24 Sky Flats being taken. Saturated.
